This Disclaimer applies to nugentive.com (the "Site"), to every audit, report, deliverable, email, and recommendation prepared by Nugentive Labs Inc. ("Nugentive"), and to any other communication you receive from us. It supplements — and does not replace — our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By using the Site or any Nugentive service, you acknowledge and accept this Disclaimer.

1. No Guarantee of Results

Nugentive provides Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) audits, recommendations, and optimization services that reflect current best practices, public research, and our internal methodology. AEO is a young and rapidly evolving field, and outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, including:

  • That your business will be cited, mentioned, or recommended by any AI assistant or answer engine, including ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Claude, Bing Copilot, Gemini, or any future platform.
  • Improvements in your search-engine rankings, organic traffic, share of voice, click-through rate, conversion rate, leads, customers, or revenue.
  • The speed at which any recommended change will produce a measurable result, or that results once achieved will be sustained.
  • That a higher Nugentive audit score will translate into a corresponding improvement on any third-party platform.

Results are influenced by factors entirely outside our control, including but not limited to: changes to ranking and citation algorithms operated by Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, and other platforms; changes to how those platforms surface, cite, or attribute answers; the actions and content of your competitors; the quality, depth, and freshness of your own website content; your industry, market, geography, and language; macroeconomic conditions; and decisions you (or your team) make about whether and how to implement our recommendations.

2. Methodology and Score Interpretation

The Nugentive audit produces a 0–100 composite score across multiple categories ("AI Readiness," structured data, content depth, authority, and others). The score is a directional summary of signals we believe correlate with AI visibility — it is not an official metric of any search engine, AI assistant, or third-party platform, and it is not endorsed by any of them. The signal weights and category definitions are our proprietary methodology and may change at any time as the field evolves. A score is a snapshot, not a prediction.

3. AI-Generated Content in Reports

Portions of our reports — including narrative findings, executive summaries, quick-wins copy, and explanations — are generated with the assistance of a large language model (currently Anthropic's Claude). AI-generated content has known limitations:

  • It can occasionally produce statements that are inaccurate, outdated, oversimplified, or fabricated ("hallucinated"), especially when applied to specific businesses, industries, or geographies.
  • It reflects patterns in its training data and not real-time knowledge of your business, competitors, or market.
  • It does not exercise human judgment about your strategic priorities, risk tolerance, brand voice, or legal obligations.

You should treat AI-generated content in our reports as a starting point for human judgment, not as a final professional opinion. We encourage you to verify factual claims, particularly any claim about a specific competitor, statistic, regulation, or third-party platform behaviour, before acting on them. For paid Detailed Audits, a human at Nugentive reviews the report before delivery, but human review does not eliminate the possibility of error in AI-assisted output.

4. Audit Accuracy and Data Freshness

Our audits are based on data available at the time they are run. Several things can affect accuracy:

  • Site availability. If your website is down, behind login, blocking automated requests, or returning different content to bots than to humans, the audit may misread your site.
  • Anti-bot protection. We fall back to specialised fetchers when a direct request is blocked. Some sites cannot be fetched at all, in which case parts of the audit will be incomplete.
  • Third-party data. Many signals (Google Business Profile data, PageSpeed metrics, backlinks, indexation, SERP positions, review counts) come from third-party providers such as Google's APIs and DataForSEO. Those providers' data may be out of date, sampled, regional, or simply wrong on a given day.
  • Platform behaviour. AI answer engines change frequently. A signal that materially affects citation today may matter less — or differently — tomorrow.
  • Snapshot effect. Audits are snapshots. Anything you (or anyone else) changes after the audit runs is not reflected in the report.

We do not warrant that audit results are accurate, complete, current, or error-free, and we are not responsible for changes that occur after delivery.

5. Not Professional Advice

Nothing on the Site or in any audit, report, or communication from Nugentive constitutes legal, financial, accounting, tax, medical, regulatory, or other professional advice. Our content is general business and marketing guidance only. You should consult qualified professionals before making material business decisions, including decisions about contracts, compliance, advertising claims, regulated industries, intellectual property, or your obligations to platforms whose terms of service govern your participation.

6. Third-Party Platforms and Trademarks

References on the Site or in our deliverables to third-party companies, products, platforms, or tools — including but not limited to Google, Bing, OpenAI / ChatGPT, Anthropic / Claude, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, SamCart, DataForSEO, and Apify — are for informational and identification purposes only. All trademarks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners. Mention of any third party does not imply endorsement of, partnership with, or affiliation with Nugentive unless we explicitly state otherwise. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, policies, or practices of any third-party platform, and a change in their behaviour may affect the relevance of our recommendations.

7. Testimonials, Case Studies, and Examples

Any testimonials, case studies, screenshots, or example results shown on the Site reflect the experience of specific individuals or businesses at a specific point in time and are not a promise that you will achieve similar results. Individual results vary, and many do not produce meaningful or measurable improvements without sustained implementation effort.

8. Forward-Looking Statements

From time to time we may publish opinions, predictions, or forward-looking statements about the direction of AI search, answer engines, the AEO field, our roadmap, or your potential outcomes. These statements reflect our views at the time of writing, are inherently uncertain, and should not be relied upon as guarantees. We undertake no obligation to update them.

9. Website Content Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to keep content on the Site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that any page, blog post, statistic, screenshot, or example is up to date, complete, or free from errors. We reserve the right to update, change, or remove content at any time without notice. If you spot something that looks wrong, please tell us at info@nugentive.com.

10. Outbound Links

The Site contains links to third-party websites, articles, and tools that we believe may be useful. We do not control those sites, do not endorse their content, and are not responsible for their accuracy, security, or privacy practices. Following an outbound link is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nugentive Labs Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, data, rankings, citations, or other intangible loss — arising from or related to your reliance on any information, audit, recommendation, report, or other content provided by Nugentive, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our overall liability is further limited as described in Section 10 of our Terms of Service.
